At the Parishes of St. Maria Goretti & The Blessed Sacrament, we work to bring the love of Christ to the people of Ribbleton, and to Preston as a whole.
Through the grace of the Church, we give thanks for the conclave that elected Cardinal Robert Prevost, who has taken the papal name Leo XIV and now becomes the 267th successor to St. Peter. We offer our gratitude to the Holy Spirit and pray that Pope Leo XIV will continue the work of Pope Francis, who served as a shepherd to both the faithful and the wider world, and build on the legacy of his namesake, Pope Leo XIII. We trust that the Church will remain true to its mission.
The history of our parishes goes back to 90 years ago, with the establishment of the parish of The Blessed Sacrament, and 70 years ago with St Maria Goretti's. Both were built and consecrated during the growth of Ribbleton, pre- and post-war.
St Maria Goretti's is now home to the Polish Mission in Preston, with services in English and Polish.
We hold Sunday Masses at the following times:
The Blessed Sacrament
Vigil - 7 p.m.
Daytime - 10:30 a.m.
St Maria Goretti's

Daytime
